St. Nicolaas children's party

This time of the year requires a lot of efforts of our club, especially of our Ladies Auxiliary. Luckily we have an excellent group LA members and even some volunteers standing by in case of emergencies. December starts with our St. Nicolaas celebration. The children are teh focal point this week-end and their party usually is held on the Sunday nearest December 6. Because of the ever increasing interest, we look for accommodation wherever available. you are advised to check our newsletter for updated information. St.Nick will make a personal visit to our little ones, accompanied by two of his "Black Peters". His visit will be introduced by a clown or someone like him. A sing-along, candies and drinks, croguettes and French Fries make this a must on your list of things to do this week-end.

Adult St. Nicolaas party

This is a relative new event at the "Dutch Den". However, it has proven to be very popular with the "OLDER CHILDREN". We prefer to bring in a St.Nick whose identity is unknown to the audience. Some of the people present might be called up to answer for their 'bad behaviour' in the past year, others are called forward to be 'AWARDED'. All this goes accompanied by a lot of fun and laughter. The event is held on the Saturday before the Children's St. Nick's party, but check our newsletter for accurate info.
