Leisure Club

Our Leisure club was founded in 1997 and is a travel club for all DCC members and non-members 55 years and over. Our own senior club with a fancy name.

Since our first trip (to Stettler) we have traveled far and wide within our province and have yet to lose a member, although we have come close twice. How the directors of the club manage to come up with new ideas every trip is a mystery, but they sure have no problem filling the bus every excursion. Trips are usually $25 per person and include bus fare, all meals and admission fees when needed. They make 3-4 trips per year. Each year, late November or early December, the Leisure club brings a visit to Rosebud toattend the annual Christmas play. For information and registration see our monthly newsletter.

For the past 8 years an acting group from Almelo Holland has entertained our members and guests with their (sometimes) zany plays on stage. This year a one-man show from Apeldoorn will visit us and your Board will continue to search for suitable entertainment for our members. Keep turning those pages of your monthly newsletter.
