Welcome to the DCCC ( Dutch Canadian Club of Calgary ) The club originated as a merger between several Dutch groups and a cardclub ( klaverjas ) in 1981. Nowadays it is a social club which wants to preserve there Dutch heritage combined with pleasure. The club consist of several subgroups- A Choir which is specialized in typical old Dutch songs.
- A Card club which plays the Dutch game of Klaverjas.
- A Billiard club which plays billiards, the original '3 balls' game.
- A Bridge club; although not typically Dutch, it is very popular.
- A social club, with bus trips and outings; very popular with the retirees.
- A Ladies Auxiliary that will organize social events as Christmas parties ect. and represent our club at various functions .
